Hola, Kathy!
Wondering when you sleep....
The first week really motivated me to create a blog. I decided to focus on the freshmen - who had visited the library for orientation. I compiled all their 'favorites' from summer reading titles and published a page associated with a Freshmen Favorites blog. At the Freshmen Folder the students can access 'how to' and study guide info so I posted the links to the blog their and dropped notes to all the freshmen English teachers. I am hoping to be able to track responses, frequency, etc...and maybe springboard into more blogs kids and teachers would really use. Tags seem interesting, but more complicated in some ways. My goal will be to create tags for specific curriculum units or perhaps the literary research paper....but I need to ponder this more and navigate the technical aspects. I might incorporate some still life and landscape Flickr-ing for our photo kids and maybe using their Glogsters as well....still simmering in my head. Some of the tools you will be using are blocked in my school and probably others so they won't be useful ( my space, facebook, etc. )
You are keeping my brain popping ! Christine

Hi Kathy
Thank you for looking over my blog and for your understanding of the grueling world of restaurants. The first week of the class has been great. I loved setting up my blog and thinking of the possibilities. It’s also been great checking out everyone else’s blogs. I haven’t had time to say hello to everyone yet , but hopefully by the weekend.
Again, thank you & enjoy the day!

Kathy you are too funny.

I am having problems getting onto the website at work today so I will try again tomorrow. I maybe late with the assignment. We have had such a busy week at the library. I have a million and one excuses..

How do I get the nifty side bar you have? I like Recent posts and tags and subscribe to the rss feed. I will know what those mean someday right?

Glad to be taking this class.
